Tender Specialist

Location: Tamworth
A position for a Tender Specialist has arisen within the road division

Role Responsibility:

Responsible for tender response for Global and UK Tenders and provides support to the UK Sales Division(s).

Key Accountabilities of the role are:

  • To coordinate and formulate a response to global and UK tenders
  • Creation of tender response library, templates and standards
  • Review and analyse all the data and documentation within the tender document and communicate the opportunity effectively to the UK Market Managers
  • Match the opportunity to the UK road operational capabilities and strategic expectations and prioritise accordingly
  • Present the opportunity to the Market Manager providing key information per market to ensure a quick understanding of the opportunity
  • To forecast accurately by documenting all activity and stage progression in Global Tender Management Tool within
  • To be deeply involved with sales process and metrics to drive revenue attainment
  • To work in partnership with the UK Sales team(s) towards the achievement the divisional budgetary targets
  • Support the UK Sales Team(s), with effective implementation of new Key Accounts
  • Provide reports and data as requested

  • High Level Tender Response Experience
  • Minimum 2 years’ recent, relevant 
  • experience within the freight forwarding industry
