As the HR Business Partner for DSV, you’ll be based in Manchester with national travel. You’ll be responsible for taking the lead on HR initiatives across your business unit. Building strong relationships with the management teams across the UK, you’ll understand the business and its requirements, and provide a comprehensive HR service whilst providing advice and guidance on process and procedure.
Skills & Competencies:
An operationally strong HR professional with exceptional abilities in communicating with people at all levels. Comfortable with challenging and providing feedback where necessary, you’ll be a key influencer within the business developing a people centred approach to the achievement of business objectives. Service orientated and commercially focused, you’ll build positive working relationships to identify and solve issues acting in both strategic and tactical capacities providing full life cycle human resources support.
CIPD qualified, or equivalent practical experience you will have a strong generalist HR background, with the ability to manage complex or highly sensitive ER cases, TUPE, Training and Development and succession planning. You’ll have a solid understanding of employment law, and be able to demonstrate a proactive, flexible approach to your work demonstrating high levels of resilience. Alongside the daily operational demands, you’ll be involved in wider HR projects from both a UK and Group perspective.
