A position has become available for a Recruitment Specialist within DSV.

Main purpose of the job:

Within Human Resources, the Recruitment Specialist is responsible for the development and execution of the overall recruitment process ensuring that DSV attracts and recruits the required talent to meet its business requirements. The Recruitment Specialist reports to the Human Resources Manager collaborates with the wider HR team and manages external recruitment support services.

Key Tasks:

To maintain and further develop an effective recruitment process, including the pre-selection of candidates based on agreed requirements to ensure that all vacancies are successfully filled ontime with a qualified candidate. This also includes hands-on activities such as scheduling interviews, increasing brand awareness, designing, optimising and implementing the in house recruitment process and supervising in-house tests. The role will also include;

Administering the Applicant Tracking System and other recruitment related tools
Replying to recruitment related queries from candidates and internal customers

Developing and maintaining tools and training to support managers in the recruitment, selection and on-boarding of candidates

Analysing hiring trends and changes in the labour market in order to evaluate and propose appropriate responses
Enhancing your DSV professional network through building relationships with relevant HR professionals, universities and other partners, including presence at relevant career fairs
Ensuring full compliance with all rules and regulations applicable on the recruitment and selection process.

Skills & Competencies:

Hands-on experience of managing the recruitment processes for a fast moving preferably international or worldwide organisation
Experience of effectively managing service providers, including the ability to define service requirements, negotiate contractual terms and monitor service-levels
Capability to act as sparring-partner for management in the area of talent acquisition and employer branding
Methodical and organised approach to work with an aptitude for detail and accuracy but still maintaining a broader perspective
Ability to balance a strong customer service orientation with the required level of process discipline
Excellent team-working, communication and presentation skills, pro-active attitude and the ability to work autonomously with a minimum of supervision under high workloads;
